Objective

The second round of the survey followed the announcement of the US grants’ termination and aimed at informing analysis and discussions at the country and global levels. The first round had looked at suspension orders and waivers.

The second iteration included additional enquiries, such as the impact of termination on gender and WLO, Coordination and IM functions

The questionnaire was developed in collaboration with ICVA, UNHCR and IOM, notably to capture refugees and migrants’ responses.

Findings

The survey provides insights into the harmful effects on inclusion and gender equality.

The majority of respondents (56 per cent) reported obstacles to protection and GBV programming and over a third indicated pushback on gender equality programming or overall challenges in diversity and inclusion efforts.
