In November 2023, the South Sudan HRP 2023 was revised to include the requirements for South Sudan of the Sudan RRP. A new chapter was added to the HRP, called “Emergency response Sudan crisis” with a financial requirement of $355.98 million.

Vulnerable people who experience multi-sectoral severity levels of 4 and 5 have reduced morbidity and mortality through equitable and dignified access to critical cross-sectoral essential services to meet their needs.
