To Scale-up and sustain minimum food consumption needs through life-saving and life-sustaining food assistance

Support self-reliance of affected households by protecting and building productive assets and restoring or creating income generating opportunities to save and sustain lives

Sector Activities
1
Activity 1.1.1 Provide emergency response to crisis affected vulnerable people with short- term food assistance through appropriate modalities
2
Activity 1.1.2 Provide the assessed food insecure people with monthly food assistance through appropriate modalities
3
Activity 1.1.3 Provide persons with Specific Needs (PSN) with supplementary food assistance through appropriate modalities (complementary to 1.2 and inter-linkage)

Activity 1.1.4 Supply flour or bread directly to households or to bakeries

Activity 2.1.1 Distributing of agricultural inputs – The inputs will include seeds, fertilizer, pesticides and equipment; coupled with related training,

Activity 2.1.2 Supporting small-scale food production (horticulture, poultry-egg laying hens, seedling production and market gardens)

Activity 2.1.3 Provide livestock support and Supporting asset building, asset protection – This will include provision of small livestock, animal feed distribution, including fodder and silage for dairy production support and training, targeting vulnerable small-scale breeders, including the provision of related training.

Activity 2.1.4 Provide emergency livestock treatment and training for veterinary services, including community animal health worker

Activity 2.1.5 Support market driven income-generating activities (IGAs), including well-adapted vocational training

Activity 3.1.1 Light rehabilitation of bakeries, flour mills and silos, and providing support to the community-based wheat seed system

Activity 3.1.2 Support light rehabilitation of relevant economic/productive infrastructure through appropriate modalities, including irrigation canals, wells, water and irrigation systems

Activity 3.1.3 Establish/strengthen the capacity for the provision of essential services for local communities including early warning and DRR systems.
