Fune, Yobe State
Hauwa Abdullahi, 24 years produces pasta at her home in Fune LGA, Yobe State on the 28th November, 2024. Hauwa lives with a disability on one of her hands. FRAD trained her on pasta making and provided her with a machine and seed funding to start. She now runs a pasta making business from her home and makes profit. Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) works to improve and build the resilience of vulnerable populations using locally available solutions and interventions. With support from partners like the Nigerian Humanitarian Fund, Frad Foundation continues to provide livelihood trainings to vulnerable people such as people with disability to be able to start and sustain a business.
