Cluster Objectives
CO1
Save lives and reduce Protection risks among displaced population and host communities by providing essential WASH supplies and services, and enhance hygiene practices. [ related to strategic objectives 1]
CO2
Save lives, reduce WASH related diseases and malnutrition by providing essential WASH supplies and services, and enhance hygiene practices among the most vulnerable populations. [ related to strategic objectives 1]
CO4
Ensure continuity of services for most vulnerable affected people in Syria by supporting and restoring water, sanitation and solid waste management systems [ related to strategic objective 3 ]
CO5
Provide humanitarian WASH responses in a coordinated, inclusive, adapted, dignified manner to the most vulnerable populations in Syria [ related to strategic objectives 1, 2, 3]
Cluster Activities
CA1.1
Provide access to safe water through humanitarian emergency response for IDPs and host population
CA1.2
Provide access to sanitation through humanitarian emergency response for IDPs and host population

Provide public health and environmental protection through emergency solid-waste management response for IDPs and host population
CA1.4
Provide access to emergency essential WASH Non-food items (NFIs) among IDPs and host population

Conduct hygiene promotion initiatives and activities targeting IDPs and the host population

Provide WASH facilities and services within schools and child-friendly spaces, in close coordination with the Education and Protection sectors.

Conduct vector-control activities (IRS, Fogging, Larva control, Bed net, curtains distribution) in hotspots & high-risk areas

Provide access to safe water through humanitarian emergency response for outbreak affected populations

Provide access to sanitation through humanitarian emergency response for outbreak affected populations
