Strategic Objectives

Provide lifesaving and life-sustaining assistance to the people most affected by the drought through integrated humanitarian interventions. Partners will prioritize immediate life-saving assistance for the most vulnerable people. The aim is to provide an integrated, multisectoral response to comprehensively assist families impacted by the drought crisis.
SO2
Strengthen resilience of drought-affected communities to mitigate the humanitarian impacts of the drought. A key component of this objective is to ensure that emergency relief programmes enhance sustainability. Partners in this plan commit to develop emergency programmes that are linked to recovery interventions where applicable.
