CO1
To improve access to essential lifesaving health services for crisis-affected and host populations aimed at reducing avoidable morbidity and mortality

To strengthen emergency preparedness and response capacity at all levels in order to mitigate and respond to communicable disease outbreaks in an efficient, coordinated, and timely manner
Cluster Activities
CA1
Provision of lifesaving integrated health services to affected communities through supporting static non-functioning facilities and through outreach mechanisms (IERT) to IDP sites and hard to reach communities.
CA2
Provision of emergency life-saving health supplies and equipment to health facilities
CA3
Support and strengthen health cluster/sector coordination at national and state levels to effectively respond to the Somalia humanitarian health crisis
CA4
Improve intra and inter- cluster coordination with WASH and nutrition clusters on joint life-saving interventions in priority districts
CA5
Ensure provision of maternal, child and reproductive health to crises affected and most communities in Somalia
CA6
Support public secondary facilities for provision of emergency obstetric care and injury/trauma care services including mass casualty management and str referral pathways
CA7
Ensure provision of maximum vaccine coverage through enhancing routine immunization and launching of immunization mass campaigns
CA8
Strengthen and enhance disease surveillance, ensuring early detection and timely response to disease alerts/outbreaks
CA9
Strengthen health authorities and partners staff emergency preparedness and response capacities including through a regularly updated contingency plans
CA10
Strengthen the capacity of health workforce and monitor the performance of health partners in order to improve the quality health service delivery
