Zimbabwe Humanitarian Response Plan 2020
SO1
Save lives and alleviate the suffering of those most in need of assistance and protection. (This objective aims to reduce excess death and disease in Zimbabwe through strictly prioritized multi-sectoral response in areas where needs are most severe. Under the SO, 1.5 million people will receive life-saving interventions in 62 districts, including 30 urban centers, by the end of 2020.)
SO2
Facilitate safe, equitable and dignified access to critical cross-sectoral basic services for the most vulnerable. (This objective aims to sustain lives and livelihoods of those hardest-hit by the crisis by ensuring access to vital basic services for 5.6 million people by the end of 2020.)
SP1
Prevalence of global acute malnutrition in children under the age of 5 years in hardest-hit areas is reduced to pre-crisis levels (2.5 per cent) by end of 2020.
SP2
No people are left facing Emergency (IPC 4) levels of food insecurity by the end of 2020.
SP3
Incidence of key communicable diseases – especially cholera – is below emergency thresholds throughout 2020.
SP4
Excess maternal mortality rates are reduced by 20 per cent in 16 priority districts by the end of 2020.
SP5
The delivery of basic services are extended to 4.5M people in 62 districts including 1.1M people in 30 urban centers and 953 IDPs by scaling up the provision of WASH, Education, Nutrition, Health, shelter and CCCM intervention by the end of 2020
SP6
Priority protection needs, that promote safety, dignity and resilience are met for 991,000 most vulnerable women and girls, men and boys, including those with special needs in 61 districts including 28 urban centers by the end of 2020.
SP7
Restored ability of 3.2 million people experiencing acute food and livelihood crisis to meet basic food consumption in 62 districts (2.9m) including 8 urban centers (300k) and protect livelihood and related food sources for 1.5 million in rural areas by the end of 2020.
