Bosasso, Somalia, The Migrant Response Centre in Bosasso has been in operation since 2009, providing migrants in vulnerable situations with critical support. Migrants face all manner of risks, including the possibility of being abandoned, before reaching their destination. The share of unaccompanied children has increased along the Yemeni Coast. The centre is the main point of contact with stranded migrants.

Wad Medani, Aj Jazirah State, Sudan, Wad Almajzoub Poultry farms hosts 1,800 new arrivals from Khartoum. The farm has been abandoned for more than a decade and displaced people sheltering there are suffering from harsh conditions, including the presence of snakes, scorpions and insects, lack of water and latrines.
