Provide lifesaving and life-sustaining assistance to the people most affected by severe dry spells through integrated humanitarian interventions. Partners will prioritize immediate lifesaving assistance for the most vulnerable people. The aim is to provide an integrated, multisectoral response to comprehensively assist families impacted by the crisis. - Strategic Objective
Strengthen resilience of affected communities to mitigate the humanitarian impacts of the drought. A key component of this objective is to ensure that emergency relief programmes enhance sustainability. Partners in this plan commit to develop emergency programmes that are linked to recovery interventions where applicable.
