Water, Sanitation and Hygiene

The Whole of Afghanistan Assessment (WOAA) 2023 report estimates that up to 74% of rural communities have experienced drought in the past one year while the impact is higher in 19 provinces, resulting in dried up springs and lower groundwater levels of hand dug wells and shallow wells.
