Cluster Activities

Conduct rapid assessments using the CHAT 2.0 tool, Ureport in the most affected, or at-risk, areas to guide the multisectoral response to reduce issues related to insecurity and well-being.

Contribute to the operationalization of community feedback and social listening mechanisms through local consultation structures and youth platforms.

Update and/or disseminate the national multi-risk communication strategy to all stakeholders.

Disseminate the budgeted action plan of the national multi-risk communication strategy to all stakeholders.

Develop communication solutions with and for communities, adapted to their needs, in particular by consulting women and girls who do not always part of a broad consultation process.

Build strong partnerships with local media (radio, TV, etc.), the private sector, youth networks to make them allies in all phases of preparation, response and recovery of the at-risk and affected population .

Strengthen the mobilization and engagement of influencers, local role models, local community leaders and stakeholders at all levels for the implementation of CCS interventions.

Implement specific SBC approaches aimed at the adoption of life-saving behaviors by affected communities.

Develop activities to prevent tensions and strengthen peace and social cohesion in order to mitigate all risks of conflict in climate emergency situations.

Maintain strong RCCE coordination through the multisectoral SBC platform in affected regions and districts

Build and populate a dynamic database of SBC indicators.

Organize periodic reviews with the actors involved in the implementation of the multisectoral response in order to adjust the SBC action plan based on the evidence collected.

Establish a two-way Common Complaint Mechanism (CFM) to complement accountability efforts towards Affected Persons (AAP).
