Ensure rapid and viable air access for the humanitarian community to intervention areas that are difficult to access.
Cluster Activities

Continue to carry out rehabilitation work on the aerodrome in the Great South and organize training dedicated to promoting safety and strengthening the capacities of aviation professionals, air operators, the Civil Aviation Authority, the UNHAS team, aerodrome focal points among others.

Revitalize the fleet, with the aim of facilitating access for partners and customers to vulnerable people and meeting humanitarian needs croissant.

Study the implementation of long-range (500 km) and large capacity (160-200 kg) cargo drones for emergency responses in order to transport initial aid and inputs.

Improve air access to the Great South by rehabilitating airfields and opening air traffic to all operators to facilitate the movement of people and goods to districts in crisis situations.

Strengthen its capacities in terms of coordination, particularly at the regional level, through the revitalization of technical working groups (GTTL) which will be responsible for supporting humanitarian operations on the ground and facilitating access and/or mobilization of existing logistical capacities .
