Effectively coordinate nutrition activities, humanitarian and development, focusing on capacity building at the national, regional and district levels, with priority in emergency areas and risk areas, with a logic of localizing the response.

Maintain regular monitoring of the nutritional situation in a logic of anticipation and to guide the response, thanks to good planning and carrying out of evaluations, constant availability of up-to-date data, disaggregated by age and sex and a periodic analysis of the nutritional situation to anticipate deterioration in the situation and prioritize interventions.

Share good practices, lessons learned, studies and research on the management and prevention of acute malnutrition in emergencies, resilience and development, based on knowledge available locally and internationally .

Increase coverage of interventions aimed at preventing acute malnutrition by providing a comprehensive package of interventions for children under 5 years old, adolescents, pregnant and lactating women.

Strengthen the early detection of cases of acute malnutrition, by making the best use of all opportunities, routinely and in the countryside, to carry out screening, and by gradually expanding the targeted populations.

Guarantee care for acute malnutrition in emergency areas, including for pregnant and lactating women and adolescent girls, by anticipating needs by an analysis of trends, through better targeting of priority intervention areas and through adaptation of approaches depending on the context.

Improving resilience and scaling up the prevention of acute malnutrition and the fight against micronutrient deficiencies,

Strengthen the integration of acute malnutrition management into the health system

Strengthen anticipatory actions and ensure emergency preparedness at all levels, to reduce the impact of crises, by supporting the strengthening of the early warning system (SAP), but also protocols or regulations necessary for responding to emergencies; and training of staff in responding to emergencies.
